This is Alan Beasley's blog for my "Steve Adams Ride for Missions" which will take place on May 24-28. I am riding the Natchez Trace, 444 miles, in 5 consecutive days to raise money for missions and cancer research.

I am not sure about the old man but the madone will do great. NICE BIKE!!!
Praying for you Allan. I just played softball with Grace's team and am hurting. Can not see how you are doing this. I can not even ride to my office 4 blocks. I'm waiting for the photos
Alan:
I read your blog site this morning and just wanted you to know how proud I am of you guys!
I'd have loved to have considered joining you, but with my eye problems, cycling is now "past history". However, I do remember well that a bike riders greatest challenge is headwinds. You feel like you are getting nowhere, and your legs hurt like hell (pardon my French!).
It will be fun talking about the trip while at the Glade. Will Preston or Dinana be able to join us? I'll bring my Spokesmen videos from 35 years ago, and we'll have some good laughs watching!
You have been in my prayers each day. You're almost there, and God is with you. Give my love to Lori, Preston, & Diana.
Your brother in Christ,
Mike
P.S. Your rear end will recover!
